Privacy policy

Information we handle

• Account information: your email, account identifier, sign-in sessions, and membership or free lifetime access status.
• Crafting content: projects, progress, notes, supply inventory, photos, PDF patterns, scanned pages, and saved markup that you add.
• Sharing and support: collaboration assignments, recipient email addresses, reviews and responses, feedback reports, attachments, and messages you send us.
• Billing records: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, and information needed to connect a payment to your account. Stripe handles payment details; full card numbers are not stored on Stitch Shuffle’s servers.
• Technical information: requests, IP-related security and rate-limit information, browser or device information, and operational logs processed to deliver and protect the service.

How we use it

We use this information to sign you in, save and display your work, provide the sharing features you choose, manage membership, respond to support requests, investigate errors, prevent abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Service providers

• Cloudflare: website hosting, project database, file storage, network services, and privacy-friendly website analytics.
• Supabase: email sign-in and account authentication, including the sign-in email delivery configured for the service.
• Stripe: checkout, payment processing, subscriptions, receipts, and the billing portal.
• Resend: feedback email alerts to the app owner, including the report’s subject, sender email, category, and submission time.

These providers process information needed for their services under their own terms and privacy practices. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our providers operate. We may also disclose information when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect users and the service.

Website visits

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits, page views, referring websites, and website performance. This helps us see how people find Stitch Shuffle. It does not use analytics cookies or track you across other websites, and we do not send account emails, project content, or payment details to this analytics service.

Projects and sharing

Your project content is associated with your account. Collaboration exposes the assigned section’s shared details and progress to the project team. Recipient reviews expose the content selected for that review to the designated signed-in recipient. Support reports and attachments are available to you and the app owner.

Choose carefully what you include in shared notes, reviews, screenshots, and feedback. People who can view something may keep their own copy. Removing access cannot retrieve copies they already saved.

Cookies and this device

A necessary, secure session cookie keeps you signed in. Browser storage remembers page choices, drafts, pattern settings, and other preferences. If you save an offline pattern, its project information and pattern pages are stored on that device for offline reading.

Signing out does not erase every locally stored preference or offline copy. On a shared device, remove offline patterns and clear the site’s stored data when finished. Clearing browser data can also remove unsaved drafts and offline copies. We do not currently add advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers.

External links and AI exchange

Tutorial, video, shopping, and other external links take you to services with their own privacy policies. The AI chat exchange helps you prepare text to copy into an AI service you choose; it does not automatically send your projects to an AI provider. Anything you copy, upload, or paste into another service is handled under that service’s policies.

Retention, access, and deletion

We keep account information and saved content as needed to provide your account and the features you use. We may keep records needed for billing, legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, or resolving disputes. Cancelling a subscription does not by itself delete your account or saved content.

You can edit and delete projects and inventory in the app and export project backups. For account deletion or a request to access, correct, or delete personal information, contact treasuresbyheatherm@gmail.com from your account email. We may verify ownership and explain any records that must be retained. Copies in reviews, shared records, provider backups, or legally required billing records may need separate handling rather than disappearing immediately when a project is deleted.

Device downloads, offline patterns, and copies held by recipients are outside the app’s server deletion process. You must remove copies on your own devices separately. We review requests in accordance with applicable law; available rights depend on your location.

Security and children

We use HTTPS, account authentication, and access checks to help protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security. Keep your email account and devices secure, and never share a sign-in code.

Stitch Shuffle is a general crafting tool and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information so we can investigate and address it.
